Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the School collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “Student”) of the School. This Privacy Policy applies to the School and all Courses offered by the School.

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in the School or a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. Students may visit the School anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Students only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Students can refuse to supply personal identification information but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School related activities.

How we use collected information

The School may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service
Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
  • To personalize user experience
We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided in our School.
  • To send periodic emails
We may use Student email addresses to send Students information and updates pertaining to their order. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, or other requests.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Student personal identification information to others.

Website statistics, cookies and advertising

Who is responsible. Dream Descriptions, run by David Selander (sole trader, Sweden), is responsible for the statistics, cookies and tags described here. Contact: david.e.selander@gmail.com.

Website statistics (Plausible). We use Plausible Analytics to see how many people visit this website, which pages they view, a few actions such as clicking Enrol or playing the preview video, where visits come from (for example a link or an ad campaign), and broad device, browser and country information. Plausible does not use cookies and does not store anything on your device. Your IP address and browser information are only used briefly to create an anonymous daily visitor count and are not stored, so we can't recognise you or follow you between days or across other websites. We do not send your name, email address or payment details to Plausible. Plausible is an EU company and processes the data in the EU. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used (GDPR article 6.1(f)). You can object by contacting us.

Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager to load the scripts described here. Tag Manager itself does not set cookies, but Google receives your IP address when it delivers the script.

Your choice comes first. When you first visit this website, a cookie banner (provided by CookieYes) asks which cookies you accept. Advertising cookies and the Meta Pixel are only loaded if you click Accept for advertising. If you decline, they are not loaded. CookieYes stores your choice in a cookie called cookieyes-consent for up to one year, so we don't have to ask you again on every visit.

Changing your mind. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the cookie settings button on this website. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything collected before you withdrew.

Meta Pixel. If you accept advertising cookies, we use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. We use it to measure how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work, and to show our ads to people who have visited this website. The Pixel tells Meta which pages of this website you visited, together with technical information such as your IP address, browser and device, and Meta cookies (for example _fbp). If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta can link this to your account.

We do not send your name, email address, phone number, payment details or order numbers to Meta, and we have turned off Meta's automatic matching of such details.

Shared responsibility with Meta. For collecting this information on our website and passing it to Meta, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd are jointly responsible (joint controllers) under an agreement with Meta: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. Meta is responsible for what it does with the information afterwards, as described in Meta's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can exercise your rights regarding this information with Meta directly, or contact us and we'll pass your request on.

Legal basis and transfers. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR article 6.1(a)), and for the cookie itself the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (LEK). Meta may transfer information to the USA. Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long. The _fbp cookie lasts up to 90 days. How long Meta keeps the information is set out in Meta's privacy policy.

Your rights. You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data and to object to its use. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se.

Third party websites

Student may find advertising or other content in our School that link to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Student, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The School has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By enrolling in the School, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not enroll in the School. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
